Maintenance Request
Emergency Maintenance
Emergency Maintenance can include:
- burst water service
- a blocked/broken toilet system
- a serious roof leak
- a gas leak
- flooding or serious flood damage
- serious storm or fire damage
- any fault or damage that makes the premises unsafe or insecure
- a dangerous electrical fault
- failure or breakdown of the gas
- electricity or water supply
- failure of essential service/appliance for hot water, water, cooking, heating or laundering
Step 1
If required, locate the mains (gas, water, electricity) and turn them off immediately to prevent any damage to the property.
Step 2
If the fault has occurred during business hours, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm phone our office immediately on 03 5176 2670. We will arrange for the relevant trades to attend as soon as they are available, keeping in mind that all urgent maintenance must be attended to within 48 hours of being reported.
If the fault has occurred outside of business hours, phone 1300 072 119 and leave your name, property address, contact number and a brief description of what has happened. This message is passed onto the Property Manager on-call, and they will return your call promptly.
Please Note:
- If you do not follow this procedure, and organise a tradesman to attend without the consent of Wilson Property, you may be liable for the full cost of the repairs.
- If you lock yourself out of the property after hours then this is not considered a maintenance issue. You will need to enlist the services of a locksmith to gain access to the property and you will be responsible for the payment of the locksmith’s account.
